Rich Palmer Former Cable Manager and Bill Collector
Rich Palmer's 6,000 Square-foot Mansion in the Southern California Hills
How about THESE Checks for a CableGuy!
Before I started with this business, I was a cable manager
during the day and a bill collector during the nights and on weekends. Sonja was the
manager of a retail clothing store. Our lives seemed to be nothing but work.
When we had time to spend with each other, it usually ended up being used as a chance to
catch up on badly-needed rest. We put in long hours for years and had nothing to
show for it but more debt!
My goal was to find a way to be in control of my life. On the side, I had been trying, and failing at home-based businesses for 12 years. Over the years, I had been involved with different opportunities that offered a lot, but ended up delivering much less. Fortunately, I didn't give up and finally found this opportunity. After only four months of working from my home I was able to quit both of my full-time positions!
Sonja quit her management job six months later. Since then we have been able to live a life we had only previously been able to dream of! In the last four months I have been paid more than I made in three long hard years in the cable industry.
The money I earn is great, but it is really just a means to have the freedom I looked so hard for. We can now work at our own pace. We sleep in if we want. We can decide to take a vacation and literally take it that day, without waiting for my boss to say yes or no.
By far the most rewarding and most important benefit is that we are able to work from home and be there to raise our daughter. We don't have to worry about what's happening at daycare and don't have to be concerned about how our daughter is being raised because we are the ones raising her! We get to see and experience those all important "firsts" in our daughters life. They only happen once and are something that no price can be put on.
